National Gathering on Christian Initiation Hero Image

Join us for the 2025 National Gathering on Christian Initiation® on July 30–31 at the Loyola University Chicago Lakeshore Campus, located in the Rogers Park neighborhood.

At the National Gathering on Christian Initiation®, parish leaders and initiation ministers will deepen and enrich their work as they gain practical skills, discuss common challenges, and share best practices. Through interactive sessions, meetings, and prayer opportunities, participants will understand more deeply that the vision of the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults is the vision of the parish as a community of disciples.

Theme

The Theme for 2025 is The Table of the Word: Scripture and the OCIA.

Throughout the initiation process, we invite catechumens and candidates to join with us and feast at the table of the Word. Not only are we nourished by Scripture, we are formed by it to be missionary disciples—bringing the Gospel to the ends of the earth.

LTP invites all parish leaders and catechumenal ministers to the 2025 National Gathering on Christian Initiation® where we will explore the use of God's Word in each of the periods of the OCIA and offer practical ways to provide a truly Scripturally-rich formation for catechumens and candidates.

Registration for the 2025 gathering will open on November 1, 2024. If you have any questions, please contact us at 800-933-1800.
